hell, completing the whole senario for an expension only rewarded a peice of accessory, you had to make a choise, but then it was the best time you could have for that job. In ffxi there was stupid long quest for just a ring. I enjoy doing stupid long quest for a peice of gear. I enjoy trying to find and hunt these rare beast to complete my rare monster acheivement. not just running and getting the map uncovered, make us go click things, watch things. or getting acheivement for explorations, i mean like guild wars point of view and the jumping puzzle. I Like doing other things like getting reputation in wow for various vanity reward like pets and mount. im complaining about things to do around it. But for me end game is not a single boss that i bang my head on until i am able to kill him. I understand your point that turn 5 is hard and all. Brand new primal fights in the future shouldn't even spark this discussion because they have appropriately higher ilvl rings/weapons/whatever to go with them. Remember, Moggle mog was already available for some time in 1.0 and the items already existed so they couldnt beef them up. TBH, this is most likely a one-off thing anyway since 2.1 is more about getting content that was already slated to be available at release actually into the game. Not to mention they can always go back and make the fight a quest requirement for Relic+2 or AF2 or whatever. There's considerably more incentive for running this content than something like AV or rerunning old story fights. Plus like other primal fights he'll most likely be dropping a rare item used for housing worth a boatload of gil. Extremely unique ilvl70 primal weapons are still nothing to scoff at for alt classes, god knows I have enough garuda/titan weapons for classes i'll probably never play much less get relics for. Right, but none of those things provide any sort of incentive at all to repeat the content. ![]()
